Does anyone have a recipe for this? Couple months ago, we went ta Applebee's, and I had the Shrimp Spinach Salad with the hot bacon dressing and omg! Everytime we go now thats what I get! I love that salad! And I know the basics to make it not rocket science, but the dressing I see so many different ones, on the web. And so dont know which one ta try, lol.
I guess I will continue my hunt for it!

Okidokies
So this weekend we are gonna take the boys to see the new Transformers movie. Cant wait for that one! Sorry I loved the first one lol. I dont know what has got into me lately Ive been into movies, that I would never in a million years watch. I soooooooo cannot wait for Ice Age to come out. Yes Im a dork and I dont care, hell I think Im more excited then the chitlens are!
But anyways, I wanna do sumtin crafty here lately, but I nono wth I wanna do. Go figure. I so want a sewing machine,but have no place to even put it. I wanna take the little sewing classes they do like in JoAnns. So I can learn how first. Then I wanna get more into other things, but nono what. Now my passion is food, thanks ta dear ole dad.
And what I really really wanna do is go to the Chefs Academy. But Im skerred to. I cant explain it just stupid fears i get.
But then again, if I dont ever try, Im never gonna learn.

Summer break over yet?
Sure needs ta hurry up, and be over with already! Im sorry,Im not one for this heat,I hate it LOL.
Yes,I do know what I am talking,about since I have lived in florida most of my life.
Between that,and these boys aggravating the piss outta each other, are driving me damn batty already!
Omg, over the dumbest things, I swear.
But, I do have to give credit,when its due. These boys have been non stop helping around the house! They so messed up! LOL
I made lil chore lists for each of them, heck they r old enough. And from what I have found on the web, what sum of these parent make their kids do! Lemme tell ya they have it made!

Im so bad at this...
I am so bad at the whole get on here and post blogs. Look its been since March that I have been on here.
Lets see whats happened since then? Enough thats for sure!!!
The boys got out of school, Michael will now be in highschool here in August! Omg highschool!!! Thats alot ta take in right now LOL.
Um this month started with a Bang... literally! See we live in these old old old and i mean OLD apts. But its been soso we lived all the way in the back and really no one bothered us. had sum issues here n there.
And we were the only ones on our floor which is the bottom so that was great! Its only 4 apts ta each floor and theres 3 floors but still. It was great!!
Then egh I'd say 2 week, had these new neighbors n omg u can hear them all hours of the night, and the constant smell of pot all the time. Which I can care less if u smoke it, I just dont want my kids to smell the chit, and be like mom whats that? And dont want my kids around it period!!!
Then it was thursday nite, I think the 4th or first thursday of this month, We ate dinner around 7ish I know I was running soooooooo late that day LOL. anywho we just finished and went into living room, doing odd and ends things till our show SYTYCD yes u read that right I dont care I love that show haha. then we hear the fire alarm going off in our main hall...
Ed was like, Baby go to the back door to see if we can catch the lil hoodlums this time, so that tells ya we been thru this b4 with the pranks. So Im at the back door and he goes ta open the front door, and soon as he did our living room started to fill up with smoke!!!
So he screams at me to get me the kids and dogs out fast as possible and he went running out the front door before I could say anything. Which skerred me ta death!
So I scream for the boys to get out, and Im gettin the dogs out get my purse cuz it was right there n my camera cuz it was right next to the purse and headed out, on the phone with 911 the entire time. Speaking of the city of Indianapolis really needs to get sum better operators.
Not knocking down 911 operators but this one omg I will just leave it at that!
So we made it outside and my brother calls and im just a crying on the phone saying our building is on fire.
While this is all going on, Ed runs directly across the hall to the new neighbors cuz thats where its all coming from, and the ppl in there bout knocked him down running out, now they just didnt run out for safety THEY TOOK OFF!!!
Ed grabs the fire extinguisher on our floor and runs up to the other 2 floors cuts up his hand all up knockin out the damn glass to get them runs back down and tries to put out this fire, and it started at the stove, as hes trying ta fight it. It was already heading up to the walls ceiling and just a crawling way to fast for him, so he runs to all the floors to make sure everyone is out. By the time he got to the 3rd floor he said that the hallway up there was already filling with smoke, so mind yall hes been in this thick ass smoke this entire time with his hand bleeding all over the damn place. But his adrenaline was going so fast he wasnt thinking ran back down to try to fight what he could til the fire fighters got there, and took over... Which I didnt know until what a week later as we r constantly talking about it over n over n over, I had thought he got the neighbors out n ran out thru the back, but no he didnt. which in one hand Im so very proud of him, and in the other I wanted to smack him upside the head! Sorry I did!
By time he came out he looked a hot mess, would he go to the EMT's no, men can b so hardheaded at times.
Now we r all together just watching all this unfold unto us. we didnt see no fire coming outta the roof which was a good sign! But tons of smoke and them ripping into the roof, then I find out they had knocked our door in and was tearing into our main walls. knocked out every window but dannys, nono how they missed that one =/
And watching every now n then bring out photos that were on different neighbors apts and asked who they belong to n what not. We are all in a state of shock thru this entire time, and the more n more pictures they started bringing down the more n more us female neighbors were bawling. And the entire lawrence twnship fire depts were there and sum of IPS helping them, and watching firefighters coming out with these loud and i mean LOUD beeping noises come to find out it was to let them know when the air was gettin low in their tanks. but watching sum come out and drop and the EMTs rushing ta them it just skerred the piss outta us. The kids were all so terrified, Its a scene I never care to ever see in my lifetime once is enough thank you!
And not only us but most of us there were 10 families all together were mainly in our jammies.
And then told we have to go to main office in the clubhouse and wait for redcross :-O
And then we get this dumb ass cop, he was soooooo soooooo out of line. But we were all standing by our tahoe cuz it was the furthest away and plus I had the kids and puppers sit in there. Anywho this dumb dumb cop come up to us and starts screaming we need to vacate. And goes straight up to my neighbors son (which is was so stereotyping this poor kid, cuz the color of his skin) screaming at him if he does not move hes going to haul him off to jail. And he was standing there not moving cuz he was worried about his mom, he wasnt leaving her site.
She gets up n starts yelling at him what gives him the right to talk to us that way, we r the victims here we r the ones sitting here with our homes going to hell. and he had told her if she didnt shut up he was going to handcuff her to, this had all happened so fast, but then we all jumped in and was like dude, u cant do this, or talk to us this way. We had done NOTHING WRONG! Then the firechief and sum other cops with the apt ppl ran over to him telling him he better calm his ass down. There are ways to approach ppl and the way he did wasnt the way.
Well come to find out the boys uncle is a COP also. So ya know his ass got into deep crap for the chit he pulled!
Well we all get down to the office and clubhouse waiting for red cross. They had let Ed use their phones and me get on their computers so I could email everyone to let know what happened. And Ed called his boss back. cuz earlier he called him n was like dude not coming to work tomorrow our apt building is on fire, his boss laughing back r u serious? Cuz they all joke with each other n thought Ed was joking and Ed was like no put on the news ya will c it, and the damn cell goes dead. I had to stop him from chucking the phone cuz he was pissed LOL i can lol now that its all over with.
But anywho he called his boss back, by now its around midnight. His boss was like dude u and ur family are not going to a shelter on my way to get u guys now!
Which to me was so awesome! When he got there thats when red cross finally showed up. So we missed all that, til next day. So when his boss came(Randy) to get us Ed was like do ya mind driving back there to see if we can get our car now? And when Ed went to ask the fire chief was it ok to get our vehicle he said yea go ahead. cuz like i said it was the furthest out.
So we followed Randy to his house, and lil man wanted to ride with him lol. It was honestly to cute, so he made a new friend lol. And then the next morning shoot few hours later, we came back to the complex cuz honestly we had no where else to go, all of our family lives in either florida, georgia ,NY and NJ. so we had no where to go. and plus we needed to find out wtf is gonna happen now.
Well they had found us all new apts to move into. And then they gave us a # for red cross so we could call them. cuz night b4 they told them there was another family, but they had sumone to come get them, to give us help also.
Which now I am a firm and I mean a FIRM believer and supporter for Red Cross. Because if it wasnt for them we would of been hurting soooooooooo bad.
So we were able to get sum new clothes, food, blankies n what not til we were able to see what we could salvage n what not. Which we were suppose to do that day,(friday) But the fire inspectors and city code dudes said there was no way anyone was gettin in that building it was just to dangerous! That we would all have to wait til the next week!
None of us got hurt that was the main thing. But we were all living in the fear that every single one of us had lost everything, either from smoke,water, or fire damage. everyone got affected by this.
Coming to the neighbors that TOOK OFF, every last one of us that lived in that building wanted to, I'll b nice and say hurt them, lol! Not for the fire, accidents happen, but for uping and leaving, that there makes u look guilty, and hiding sumtin.
And come to find out it was a grease fire on the stove, and the chic poured water onto it which all that did was fuel the damn thing! She had tried to blame on she was baking nuggets in the oven and a wire sparked and started the fire. Which was a complete lie, Ed had already knew that from what he had tried to fight, and then the fire inspectors had ruled it a damn grease fire! So what they had to haul ass on n hide, still dunno, but they did get found on neglectance(sp). for uping and leaving the way they did.
Jackasses is all Im gonna say to that subject!
So we finally made it into our apt either that monday or tuesday. dont remember. and Everything looked good from first glance. We thought yes we can save it just needs to b cleaned which they did for us. And then they got movers to go in and pack our stuff and move it into new apt. But that didnt happen till last friday finally. by then lemme just tell ya my body was akilling me from sitting on the floors n sleeping on air matties. sorry I guess Im gettin to damn old for that chit.
So inbetween all last week. we would go and get things here n there, and as we went we found more n more things damaged. like the way I had kitchen decorated all the stuff on the walls were burnt to the wall or melted to the wall, and sum stuff in there wasnt gonna b able ta get cleaned or saved. so little things here n there thru out the living and dining room we hadda throw out but nuttin bad ya know? and then came to little mans room we hadda throw out most of his things. which we found very odd, still do. but he was like mommy its ok! talk bout bringing the tears, acting all big boy and more okay with it than I was.
And I just have to say I give my boys 100000000000000000 kudo's thru out this entire ordeal. Because they had really stepped up Especially Michael, anyone who knows Michael will tell ya that boy dont like ta do anything, its like trying to pull teeth to get that boy to hepl otu around the house. but these last what 3 weeks he they both have been amazing. He would go back there sum days when Ed went by himself to help load the tahoe with stuff come here, clean organize, EVERYTHING!!!
I was like What happened to the Michael we know? please dont change ur new ways LOL.
And for most part hehasnt. He will go and do stuff like doing the dishes, helped with all the unpacking and fixing up the place just everything.. we kept saying ok the lightening strike is gonna hit us soon take cover LOL.
And then on top of all of this this passed monday their daddy left for deployment AGAIN! This is his 4th time! and as the boys get older the harder it is for them. So this month they have been thru so much!
And when daddy gets his R&R he's flying here spending that time with the boys. So they cannot wait. I am just so glad, that we all get along so well. Im sorry but u have to be especially for the boys ya know?
He always kid with his troops that he is so glad that he had a good divorce and not go thru the crap most of them have to go thru, when they r either going thru or went thru with their divorces.
We were always better as friends anywho. we were so not meant to get married. but we did and were blessed so everything happens for a reason!
Anywho this is what our month has been like!

Sorry havent been around....
Been sick as a dog, and havent been in the mood to blog or anything.
Lets see whats new in my corner of the world? Hmm well trying ta get a house.
Even a fixer upper as long as payments r low enough for us to fix up then thats fine if not.
then gonna have to be move in ready. But just wanna get into a house period!! Hate these
apts. Ya know half of one building here in the complex burned out lil over a yr ago now I think.
They didnt knock all the way down n start over. I was appalled by that. just gutted it n rebuilt.
If sumone gets in there with kids with breathing problems or anything ta that nature are going to suffer big time. I just dont get it. so we r over it n ready to move. Not even gonna get into the countless floods here.
But we just want our own place ya know? i wanna start a lil veggie garden, I want a extra room so i can turn into craft room. I wanna paint n fix things up that i cant do here.
So ready to decorate do things I wanna do and what not that cannot do here.

Even a fixer upper as long as payments r low enough for us to fix up then thats fine if not.
then gonna have to be move in ready. But just wanna get into a house period!! Hate these
apts. Ya know half of one building here in the complex burned out lil over a yr ago now I think.
They didnt knock all the way down n start over. I was appalled by that. just gutted it n rebuilt.
If sumone gets in there with kids with breathing problems or anything ta that nature are going to suffer big time. I just dont get it. so we r over it n ready to move. Not even gonna get into the countless floods here.
But we just want our own place ya know? i wanna start a lil veggie garden, I want a extra room so i can turn into craft room. I wanna paint n fix things up that i cant do here.
So ready to decorate do things I wanna do and what not that cannot do here.

Well
Hopefully we will b getting a car here so,Im dying to start working and adding my share of the income, esp. now that they have cut all his overtime. Which we are still getting by, but would like to add. And most of all getting outta the durn house I dont care where I work whether it be a lab or nursing home again, if I canot to that to retail, fast food heck gas station I DONT CARE I need to get outta this house lol.
Only thing is that it will have to be same hours as Ed well lil later, cuz I gotta get Danny on the bus. But either daytime hours to graveyard shift. so it doesnt conflict if he has to get called into work.
Dunno if I wanna work dietart again in a n.h. cuz last one I had well the one I worked b4 I left for washington I was there 11 yrs and went from a temp pm nite dietary aide to Supervisor and was going to school for my FSD., licence. And then with my dad dying right b4 and all the stuff that happened down in florida to my ex re enlisting into the army, I was glad to leave it all behind me in one hand, lets just say i do better away from all the drama.
And I just couldnt deal with it it was gettin way way to much.
And other hand I have everything starting out for me and had a career choice I was working to educationally and then with the home office with the company. And i gave it all up. which sumtimes i regret n others im grateful and glad.
So do I want to go back to all that, and what I mean by that, is would I get hired as a Supervisor, and will they be able to put me into school so I can finish what I started. Or would i have to start from scratch again, I dont think I want to go back to start all over again. Makes sense? doesnt it?

TGIF
I am so glad this week is over with! And would love to look forward to the weekend, but we think Ed has to work on Saturday and Sunday. Which yes we were complaining about no OT and cuttin hours n what not and hes gettin them now. So one hand Im happy hes gettin the hours, other Im like, but i got use to him being home lol.
So who knows what the weekend will bring us.
But on a good note I found a set of tables for the living room on Craigslist dirt cheap and super nice and waiting to hear from the person when we can go look at them! :)
Cuz he just told me he didnt sale them yet.
Anyways gotta go put load of laundry in so I better get off here

So I have found this bookcase that i fell in love with on craigslist and its only 10 bucks, sooooooo cannot go wrong with that Im gonna restore it anyways. But now I am praying they dont sale it, and that I will be able to get it tomorrow, I will post pic later. I just decided to get on here and blog about it LOL.
Now crossing finners it doesn't get sold eeek!!
Now on my painting project just put on 2nd coat now waiting for it to dry and then either tonight or tomorrow night I'll sand my spots on it n put the antique'n top coat on it. I am sooooooooo glad that I had found Cindy and her MyRomanticHome site, and the tips on painting furniture, because I would of soooo messed it up lol.
So Cindy if you ever come around to my corner Thank You!!! :)
Now last night took my benedryl, because of the crazy allergies i have been having trying to put in the bud that I dont get sick again LOL, and it helps me to sleep so thats a plus... well not last night urg! I be layin on couch with laptop in my lap and started to get so seeeeeeeeeeeepy so wasnt going to play n mess that up so closed laptop and tried to go to sleep. yea that didnt happen =/ At all but then said uhh might as well get up n do sumtin. So went into kitchen n cleaned YaY not!! haha did all that got my chicken ready for tonight got coffee set up to brew for Ed. thought might as well do sumtin =/
Danny got on the bus 45 mins ago, so I sit here restless still cant go to seeeeeeps(yes i spelled it that way on purpose i make up my own magical words :) lol )
O I hope I get that bookcase LOL! yes still on the brain haha.

Started Painting...
I have this egh wanna call it a bookcase type piece of furniture. One of Eds ole buds made us while we were still in ga. well he stained it n all. I have it in my room for storage.
Anyways been wanting to paint and antique it kinda sorta forever now, Ed had got me the supplies forever ago. Just never did anything with it.
Well I started it today gettin ready to get down there n put udder coat on it, and in the morning do my sanding in spots lol then top coat it i guess dunno what all I wanna do with it.
But wanna get my room started how I want it to look. Cant do so much here since we live in apt.(hope be outter here soon) but like my furniture n things, that I find or pick up here n there, I can start that process of it, right? yup!
Well Just wanted to get on here and post sumtin.
Now off ta painting:)
